Nikon Recall EN-EL15 Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries

It's true to say, occasionally things fail, be it a product or a service. In fact, it can be anything from a high-end car to ball point pen and photographic equipment is not immune as Nikon has discovered. Nikon says it has announced a: "voluntary recall of some EN-EL15 rechargeable li-ion batteries as a precaution". Whilst a battery might seem a fairly minor piece of kit, our batteries are as fundamental to our cameras as a lens or flash unit. So, if you are a Nikon camera owner that uses the EN-EL15 rechargeable li-ion batteries and haven't seen this information yet, please do check it out, the information from Nikon was updated again on update 20/06/2017.

PASTE IN PLACE... Is a great feature inside Photoshop and one you'll use frequently – if only you knew about it! In fact, unless you already know about Paste in Place, it might just come as a bit of a surprise! So... You're working in Photoshop and you've made a selection in either your current document or, say, in a second document you're also working on if you're combining artwork. Copy the selection as usual by choosing 'Edit > Copy' (or try the keyboard shortcut 'cmd+c'). Then, in the document you want to paste into, use another neat keyboard shortcut 'cmd+shift+V', which will to paste your copied content element in the same position on the document as your original document. And voila! You're done pasting in place.
