Welcome to Capture and Create; a new venture jointly owned and managed by Doug Harman and Sue Chapman. We are both independent professional photographers with many years of expertise between us in Photography and Photoshop, publishing and tuition.

We are both extremely lucky to live near Ashford in the County of Kent based in the South East of England and it is in this wonderful area with a great selection of historic towns and villages, some beautiful countryside and a stones throw away from the Kent coast, that we will be running our workshops and country retreats.

.....and so a little about us and our backgrounds.......

Sue Chapman ARPS CPAGB

Sue works professionally as a commercial photographer specialising in product, architecture, interiors, fine art photography and restoration of old photographs. She is a member of three local camera clubs (Ashford, Folkestone and the Dynamic Range Group), is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, holds the Certificate of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain and is a member of The Photographic Society of America. Sue also enters many local, National and International Photographic Competitions and has gained many acceptances and medals across each.

Sue is also an accredited Kent County Photographic Judge and Speaker and travels all over the County regularly judging competitions and giving photographic talks to camera clubs.

In addition to her commercial work Sue's passion is teaching others the basics of photography, mastering Photoshop skills and delight in all that Photoshop has to offer! Students are often seen wandering around Sue's garden photographing trees and flowers, then it's back into the garden studio for some editing and Photoshop enhancements.

When Sue doesn't have a camera in her hand or is sitting at her PC editing photographs she loves to be out in her garden, reading or playing the piano.
