Learn To Capture The Magic of Beautiful Flowers
The Beauty of Flowers at Godinton House and Gardens
Workshop Date: 5th June 2018
Learn to shoot beautiful flowers at Godinton House and Gardens a hidden gem that has so much to offer the photographer including a range of gardens from an exquisite Italian garden to a well-cultivated fruit and vegetable garden to a beautiful wild area. Add in ponds and duck house, this ancient and elegant Jacobean house has a facade of brick, an ideal potential backdrop for the large variety of flowers to shoot during the Spring, Summer and Autumn. In fact, there is an endless supply of photographic opportunities. Add to this the natural wildlife, from pheasants to damselflies around the ponds, and there is something for everyone.
This workshop is designed to ensure you get the most out of your camera and teach you how to "look" for beautiful flower photographs, something often easier said than done, particularly when there is so much colour and variety of flora and fauna surrounding you. In addition, we will shoot a few simple panoramas both handheld and/or with a tripod if you wish to bring a tripod along with you.
The afternoon session will consist of downloading your images onto your laptops and editing them in Adobe's Lightroom all with assistance from Sue and Doug. We will also show you how to create a Panorama in Lightroom using your shots from the morning session.
Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced photographer, you are certain to enjoy this photography and Lightroom packed day with naturally one of our delicious lunches thrown in along with as much tea and coffee that you can drink.
If you have any questions about this workshop or if you are not sure if it will suit you, then please do get in touch and we can explain a little more.
